Dude, no. Trust me. Better now, than 3, 4 years later (like myself after the death of my younger brother.

No one can force you, but, you should atleast talk to someone who understands your situation and has some personal separation from you and your late ex girlfriend.

I don't "believe" in counseling I talk about it so I think I'll be fine

I didn't either. I had the same issue, too. I still have my apprehensions.

My job "forced" me to take a couple of sessions and didn't like it. I didn't believe someone who is paid by you could give you honest advice.

It took me to get a counselor, for free, 3 years later to respect the process.

Just down go into "Super Man" mode and keep "it" in.

Make sure your reaching out or even just accepting help from others. Just, don't deal with it, alone.

I don't know how serious you can take ppl on thecoli, but, I really feel you.

It's just another outlet to relieve the pain. I knew that some people would make fun of it but I felt that I needed to let it out for me to heal. The coli is the last to find out coz I have already told all the people that are close to me.

I'm sure she was a beautiful woman with a loving spirit. I'm sure you saw that in her and loved her for it. My sincere condolences. I have a precious wife. I couldn't even imagine. But real talk, she could hit a bad spell and be susceptible to something like this. Not out of the realm of possibility.

Sad but not all of us can escape our demons. Some of us get caught up. It's nobody's fault. It's a reality of life.

As someone said earlier try your best to keep you chin up and try to live a healthy, prosperous and honorable life. I'm sure she loved you and would want that for you.

So long as you can accept that her death had nothing to do with you, it shouldn't affect them.

Depression is a disease of the mind...like cancer is a disease. Her suicide is a result of her being unable to treat her disease.

Whether you were a part of her life or not, this probably would have been her outcome regardless.
