my condolences bruh. my ex suffers from depression and would often have suicidal thoughts. talking to her on the phone and literally talking her out of killing herself were some of the scariest moments of my life.

once you realize that depression is a disease that can't really be prevented by anything you say or do, it'll help you cope with everything a bit more

Dude, no. Trust me. Better now, than 3, 4 years later (like myself after the death of my younger brother.

No one can force you, but, you should atleast talk to someone who understands your situation and has some personal separation from you and your late ex girlfriend.
