Dude, the theres so much racism going on in the workplace that don't give black men jobs, they prefer to give black women jobs over black men. Which then creates division in black families leaving the husband to leave or assault his wife then the children have no father. shyt is fukked up

:whew: I was almost worried this thread wouldn't get racial.

The whole story sounds like a giant cliche. Honestly, I'm, trying to think of the last time I encounter an office where somebody who wasn't supposed to be there could just walk in. Maybe things are different where they live?

Assuming the story's true though... the husband's insecure because he feels useless. It's not like you can call up your friends in the middle of the day either; they're probably working too!

Acting up like this doesn't help anything. His confrontation could become a recurring inside joke amongst the office workers, depending on the vibe of the workplace.

Truth and logic
lets test that theory. would you be okay settling down with a man that earns significantly less than you do?

It depends on where my head was. If it was in the clouds with no regards for practical matters as it pertains to my life goals, then why not?

If it was based in reality, then knowing that my desire was to build up a business, stay at home with my kids, and homeschool them; would it have made sense to marry a man who would not be able to provide that?

I didn't have a job when I got married. I had a father who provided me with a certain lifestyle and a business I was trying to grow. So if my husband would have made less than I did....that wouldn't have worked out as far as marriage. I take my goals very seriously; so just as my looks factored into my husbands desire to marry me, his income potential factored into my fathers acceptance of his proposal, and my acceptance as well.

It is what it is.

Would you now like to argue that all black women share my sentiments?

I had to go back and give you dap bruh. No one acknowledges this. Black women think they get this job over men because they're smarter and work harder. :snoop:

If this is real, it sounds like she doesn't have the proper respect for her husband or their relationship. I don't even know where to begin.
...I don't know any black woman that ends up being the financial head of the household that doesn't end up humiliating her husband at some point when she feels slighted

He keeps the house, cooks, and takes care of the kids because it benefits them financially for one of them to stay home than to pay for daycare and a babysitter. It sounds like she loves her job and didn't want to give up her career, so he took time off of his. Or maybe he was laid off or something. It's not like he's at home all day doing nothing.
And that's exactly why they're in this mess right now.. like most things, it sounds good in theory till you apply it to the real world which introduces variables not accounted for in the perfect scenario said theory was drawn up in.

They gonna get in their feelings over this and act like women don't like throwing shade.

I don't think anyone would argue that women do not throw shade. But as far the quote above, I'm not sure where the idea that this these types of reactions are exclusively given by black women. Unless of course I attribute the comments to ignorance.

Does the owners of the Coli own this LSA site? Are they under the same umbrella or something? I don't get these cross post threads. :patrice:
It's like back in 1st grade on the black top
we pretend not to like each other and call each other doo doo heads
but at the same time are utterly fascinated with how different and still the same we are... :lupe:
might even have a secret crush:steviej::skip:
