You Gucci, man. Just stack money and fukk other support chicks. I thought you were gonna say you were combat arms or something. I’ve been out for a while but a lot of the current newer guys don’t have combat patches. You’ll have a lot of clout just having a patch on your right shoulder for basically taking an extended business trip.

@aboss4real24 you’re more likely to die at Hood than in Kuwait. Focus on the future and you can set yourself up for lifelong stability. Don’t live like deployment money will be a guaranteed thing. Just take that shyt one day at a time and have fun. Keep in touch with your family and work out when you have down time. There will be a lot of people who will get lost in their head and put themselves in a bad position upon returning home. When in doubt, consider tomorrow

Hood historically is a base where the boredom and monotony of the army has *literally* gotten people killed.

With the Army, Garrison life is tricky. Unlike the Air Force, The Army is a wartime branch and alot of MOS's dont have a real purpose while at home. And the CoC doesnt know what to do with all that extra down time, which leads to fukkery.

Hood is one of those bases where the fukkery is at 9000 prolly because its too many chiefs around and nobody (as in Battalion lvl....BC/CSM and above) wants to look like they arent being "productive" so close to the flagpole.

Its funny OP made this thread because id wager when he gets back, he will prefer being deployed vs. Being in garrison.

You get paid more and leadership leaves you the fukk alone to do your job.
