This is not hate but Melo and Rose are only temporary teammates for Porzingis. KP will spend most his career without them

You have to go back to the Warriors before they got real good, they built their team through the draft. Hopefully Phil can pull off something slick this year with our 1st round pick

Simmons said it's time to trade melo but O'Connor convinced him melo staying is best for porzingis especially since melo would then be the number 2 option, but his ego would have to allow for that, which Simmons doesn't think will happen. He's right on that, melo has to know he isn't the same player. It's clear as day.

Melo and Rose were a combined -26 in a two point win. Pretty much damn near impossible. But the fans are at fault obviously.

The usual suspects are about to come at your neck ranting about you being in the thread. Ball, Fultz, Monk,Fox, and Smith Jr. all looking good but folks hype about a second round exit at best. But folks want playoff basketball without taking into consideration the long term. This team is currently built for second round exits for the next couple of years, while at the same time not pairing KP with any elite young prospects.

When I was read on here that most successful teams are not built through the draft and Riley's Heat served as the template, I knew logic wasn't going to convince Knick fans. This is why Dolan can get away with this short term philosophy because Knicks fans eat the shyt up. I have very low expectations until Melo is gone, until then I'll just read why I should appreciate Melo the same way I appreciated Pat Ewing
