Now i know most of yall are anti marriage and preach these horror stories which yea, shyt is real and it can be hell, but at its best i think its better than single life. This is coming from a young dude in his 20's thats led both a fun single life, and now what i think is a great marriage. Obviously everyones different, but for me ive noted:
-Im more productive with my wife here. without her ill have so much freedom and free time that ill end up bullshytting it away.. i think she keeps me on track and motivated to get things done
-Its better for me financially; being single i piss away my money partying, drinking, and trying to have fun; not to mention having to have fly new gear and maintaining an image. with my wife i track every dollar with a budget that allows me to take care of bills, have fun, and save. i see my wealth grow and have all these future plans like investing and buying a house which are feasible. not to mention i just make more money for being married.
-The sex is better; i can easily pull random hoes but theyre not necessarily better than my wife by any means and yet they might act like it and feel entitled..whereas i get consistent GOOD sex at home whenever i want. no need to hunt, no taking risks, no condoms or worries about stds and pregnancy scares.. my girl is trained and knows what i like. idc if you're a daddy long dikk, theres gonna be dry nights and bad sex experiences.
-Being alone sometimes is necessary; but being married you dont HAVE to be at anytime you dont want. if you married her, she should be cool enough for you to consider your best friend so you shouldnt mind her companionship. being single, idc how much of a playboi you are, theres gonna be lonely moments. theres not gonna always be someone there that loves, supports, and helps you.
-Phuck cooking and cleaning lol. if i dont have to do it, then GREAT.
-I have a 2.5 year old son and hes fcuking awesome. i def wanna be there for him and raise him to be the person i want him to be. and im not even a kid person; i never liked kids and still dont. but your own becomes the exception to the rule.
In reality, i feel like in a good marriage you can have your cake and eat it too; because i have the advantages i listed above, AND i can still do most of the things i wanna do and buy whatever i wanna buy. I can still go out with the nikkas and do what i want, i can still travel, i can still have hobbies and shyt i had goin on as a single guy, and truth be told, if i wanted to smash random hoes still, i could do that on the low.
marriage is by no means perfect, but i think if you get it right and have a good girl its a way more fulfilling life. and if what you fear is divorce, then get a prenup. problem solved. i know theres gonna be guys sayin it'll get worse or whatever, but i been doin this for 4 years so its not the honeymoon stage.. and ive met people out there thats been together happily for YEARS so its possible.
