I'm 5'10 and never felt the need to do this at all.

What's funny, too, is that I can tell a lot of dudes be capping about their height to women because I've had some women swear to me that I'm 6 ft even when I tell them that I'm 5'10. Then, they'll tell me how they know a 6 ft guy who's my height and I'll tell them that those dudes were capping.

Height inflation got people downplaying how tall 5'10 or 5'11 is.

What's even funnier is that the obsession specifically with 6'0" would almost certainly have to be an American thing, since we use the imperial system for height measurement. I mean, obviously women universally prefer taller men, but I can't imagine women in countries that use the metric system being hyper-obsessed with men who are specifically 182.88 centimeters. Round numbers are a bytch.

Yup, I'm 6'3 but whenever I tell people my height they don't believe me and swear I'm like 6'5-6'6. I say I'm 6'4 for a happy medium tho
