MySpace was so much better than fb i honestly have no idea how it won. I was one of the last holdouts. I was still hanging out on MySpace by myself for months before I finally gave up

Eventually a bunch of old folks ended up on MySpace. Kinda lost the cool factor. Facebook was originally intended for college students, youth migrated to it.

MySpace in its prime was better than all these social media platforms imo.

Whats crazy there's a lot of old ppl on Facebook and its still relevant with the youth. I hope Facebook never falls off, its a great way to connect with family and friends.

Facebook when it just came out was limited to university students. I think you needed at University email to set up an account.

Back in the day, it was a great tool to connect with other students on your course and on campus.

The scope of it widened and it became a great way of staying in touch with family and friends met over the year.

I think competing with Twitter and taking over Instagram kind of killed it. It moved towards whatever the fukk it is now, I guess providing updates without actually engaging with people.

Was way ahead of it's time

Myspace added a lot of flavor spark and creativity that most modern social networks lack today
