i refuse to conform
prodigy verse kinda of ridiculous imo

Yeah likewise, Im tired of rap guys whose fakkits
Pure shuteye, and swole up your whole outside
I baptize, nikkas get wet, put up your backside
Your claptized and set straight, put on your head straight
Watch out for,
These upstate cats be leary of you
Yeddy nikkas wit gats plus the walls on they backs
Rikers Island flashback of the house you got scuffed it in
You would think you gettin your head shot was enough but then
Now you wanna get at my team,
You must of been drunk when you wrote that shyt
Too bad you had to did it to your own self
My rebellion, I retaliate, I had the whole New York state
Aimin at your face

the rhyme scheme was kinda of ridicious.

Me Against the World is his best album and even that has some filler. I never liked 7 Day Theory. It seems hell over-hyped because of his death. Dudes be acting like Pac whole catalog is stellar when it's far from.

No one said that. Honestly 2Pacalypse Now wasn't that great to me. His lyrics and skills were kind of basic and still raw at that point. And Ice Cube was already doing the black militant albums way better than Pac at that time.

Thug Life Vol. 1 was when Pac got in his groove and started showing his skills. By the time he got to 7 Day Theory, he was at his absolute best.

Someone should break down Pac's shyt more, lyrically and content wise. The shyt he did was amazing, I appreciate his music more each year.

So many levels to his work. The religious themes, metaphors, alliteration (i.e. If I Die Tonight) and other literary devices, and the list goes on. There's a reason why colleges would have classes about his lyrics and the themes in his music. :wow:

Yeah, some people understand just how the deep his shyt really went and some don't. Hopefully they will understand in time. Pac has songs no-one talks about much that are all time classics and would be amongst most artists top ever songs.

A lotta cats say its the emotion he put into it... I disagree, it was more that he was able to capture the emotion of a particular situation and draw emotion out of the listener. He even threw it into a lyric...

"Now tell me if I'm wrong, but sayin fukk the world got you deeper in my song"

nikka knew he was gettin nikkaz deeper in his shyt by relatin to how they/we felt :wow:

"Part Time Mutha"
"Papa'z Song"

nikka was a genius at relatin to his listener.

Only fukkboys diss book 2 on AEOM. Cant C Me, Shorty Wanna Be A Thug, Holla At Me, Wonder Why They Call U bytch, All Eyez On Me... every track is a banger... thats why AEOM shyts on all other double discs.
i never understood the hate for disc 2...then again this place is like the twilight zone. only song i skip on that entire album is whatz ya phone #
dude effortlessly released a double cd straight out of prison when most now can't even release a single disc that's worth a damn.

In real life I don't think I've ever anyone not like All Eyez On Me. I like/love EVERY song from the project. Yes even Whatz Your Phone, only ever heard that disliked online too, it was a party album partly, so had party songs, great ones at that, I love Rather Be Ya N.I.G.G.A, Thugz Passion etc, a lot of memories.
