Seriously, Rockstar has been in the zone for over a decade, they're really consistent. Sure, they have the occasional average release too but most of the stuff they release is pure fire.

Red Dead Redemption + Undead Nightmare DLC
GTA IV and V + Gay Tony and The Lost DLC + Heists DLC
LA Noire
The Warriors
Bully
Manhunt
Midnight Club series

They even made a game about table fukking tennis and it was actually fun and well received by the critics

When you compare their top franchises (GTA vs AC) it's simply not fair. Both reviews and sales give the GTA series a blowout W.

Since the jump to 3D, all main GTA releases have always been scored in the high 90's. AC on the other hand goes from great to average too often.

GTA series has 220 million sales worlwide. AC has 73 million.

I agree. Rockstar may have the numbers but I've enjoyed the ND games way more.

Those are games from multiple studios in the OP. Rockstar North (GTA), Rockstar San Diego (RDR), Remedy (Max Payne 1/2), Rockstar Vancouver (Bully, Max Payne 3). But I still get your point. It's hard to beat that lineup in terms of consistency and quality.

My personal favorite studio is probably Naughty Dog, just because of Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us. Uncharted 4 is gonna be crazy too.

I got another contender though. Valve.
