Maryland the best state in the United States, Jobs, Women, Black population.Food, proximity to major cities(NYC,DC,Philly), Urban and Suburban areas with black people. Affordable houses for all economic classes
Amount of 5-6 HBCUs rival PWIs- so there will always be a strong black population.
Some of the best healthcare system. We're a coastal state
perfect weather- we dont get many snow storms, earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes.

Only downside in the state is the cost of living, but even that's overblown - yeah if you're trying to live near the beach, your paper needs to be right. But other than that? You're taking an L if you don't live here, straight up.

I am not trying to wish bad on you guys but Cali is due for a big one. You guys get earthquakes every year, last year there were over 20,000 mini-earthquakes. They were minuscule. But, most of them are felt with minor damage. Thankfully. Google california earthquakes. You'll get a list.
I hope you guys have quality insurance. Just be prepared, brehs.

Lived in California all of my life. I bounce back and forth between Los Angeles and San Diego (I'm there right now, it's like a 2nd home).
Been to my fair share of cities, I'd have moved already if I thought it they were better. Haven't been to Maryland nor Atlanta yet though. Maybe sometime this year.
If anything, it's got me thinking of moving out of the country altogether to find an equal/better place. Always thought it'd be dope to have something like this in Paris:
Italy also comes to mind. Moscow seems to be very welcoming to foreigners, is modern and doesn't sleep, but that weather is something else.

And I would only move to San Diego or somewhere far north like the Bay or somewhere close to Seattle
