nikkas sleep on Maine (not necessarily Portland, I just love the whole state in general. I like to stay around the York/Kittery area). New Hampshire is 10 miles away and they have no sales tax. No traffic, fresh air, sparse population, fresh lobsters every day

The view is beautiful. Its just a hour from downtown Boston, but the coast is pretty populated. Access to the mountains in NH, whale watching, and weed is legal.

As a writer, it is my favorite place to get away. I was just up here before the noreaster and the waves were like 15-20 ft high during the high tide.
