If we want to cherrypick stats...

Kobe Bryant in 2010 Finals:
Game 1: 30 points on 46% shooting
Game 2: 21 points on 40% shooting
Game 3: 29 points on 35% shooting
Game 4: 33 points on 46% shooting
Game 5: 38 points on 48% shooting
Game 6: 26 points on 47% shooting
Game 7: 23 points on 25% shooting
Series: 28.6 PPG on 40.5% shooting

Kobe Bryant in 2008 Finals:

Game 1: 24 points on 35% shooting
Game 2: 30 points on 48% shooting
Game 3: 36 points on 60% shooting
Game 4: 17 points on 32% shooting
Game 5: 25 points on 38% shooting
Game 6: 22 points on 32% shooting
Series: 25.7 PPG on 40.5% shooting

Kobe Bryant in 2004 Finals:
Game 1: 25 points on 37% shooting
Game 2: 33 points on 52% shooting
Game 3: 11 points on 31% shooting
Game 4: 20 points on 32% shooting
Game 5: 24 points on 33% shooting
Series: 22.6 PPG on 38.1% shooting

Notice Kobe shot below 50% in 16 of those 18 games...

But y'all same nikkas worship Kobe and shyt on LeBron for his poor performances in the Finals....

They would have a legit shot. They gave Indiana problems on the road without bron for most of the game. In that weak ass eastern conference, it is very possible.

No. They would not. You'd need a full season of wade to get them a top-4 seed, his knees need more rest than that. Which essentially makes bosh your number one and Allen/chalmers/cole your number 2.

That team doesn't have a shot at making it out of the east. I'm not sure they could beat the Wizards, they wouldn't beat the bulls. They would have no shot against the Pacers... and none of those are even GREAT teams.

Gasol could shoot too. He was never Bosh but he had a sick mid range game the defender had to respect. I prefer Gasol's defense over Bush's actually. Gasol might be human one on one but him and Odom/Bynum together made it hell for the opposing team to score because of their length. Overall, Gasol in his prime was a better player and that's pretty obvious IMO.

I also prefer Gasol. But the Heat are better with Bosh. Bron's game is suited for a big that can space the floor like Bosh moreso than a low post threat like Gasol. What would LeBron do beside Gasol? Dump the ball down to him and wait at the 3-point line? Bosh meshes better with his skills.

I see you trying to deflect cause you know the hypocrisy. But I'll play along.

All Kobe has on LeBron is longevity. That's it.

LeBron in his 11th year: 4 MVP's, 2 rings, 2 Final MVP's, 2-2 Finals record (And if he wins again you can add another ring, another Finals MVP's)
Kobe in his 11th year: 0 MVP's, 3 rings, 0 Final MVP's, 3-2 Finals record

Kobe's career only looks more "impressive" because he was in the league 7 years before LeBron. By the time LeBron's career is over and he and Kobe will have played close to an equal amount of years, he's gonna shyt on Kobe in stats and accolades and the only people still thinking Kobe is better will be the stans :manny:

Gasol could shot. Bosh status? No. But Gasol was automatic from 15 especially when wide open

Are you fukking kidding me? :what::what:

Only reason why Gasol might be close is because they will take into account international league play. Bosh has NO CHANCE of making the HOF.

Are they going to count Artest's performance in the Crack Leagues as a kid? GTFOH.
For starters, the post you quoted was about Bosh/Gasol. Anyway, if defense is considered an important part of basketball, why shouldn't Ron be considered?

Kobe failed with Prime Shaq, Malone, Payton,
Kobe couldn't reach the playoffs with artest, gasol, nash, Howard

YOu have to consider him the greatest failure ever. Bron has gone to 4 straight finals with a good team. Kobe was choking away with great teams and great coaches.

I hate Kobe but Kobe wasn't even playing in the playoffs in 2013 lol. Malone went down in the early in the Finals so who was covering Rasheed Wallace again? Kobe was forcing the issue but the Pistons was just a flat out horrible matchup for the Lakers. They don't need to double Shaq or Kobe, Kobes gotta use a lot of his energy chasing Rip because Payton was old and was letting Billups go ape shot on him, rasheed was basically had nobody that can limit him, and they were extremely well coached

They only made the playoffs because they won their last game without Kobe and won their last few games because of blatant biased officiating. For Kobe to be at that point with so much talent should have confirmed to the stans that he's overrated.

And Malone being out was not the reason he shot like 33 percent for most of the series and took some of the worst shots in NBA Finals history.
