They only made the playoffs because they won their last game without Kobe and won their last few games because of blatant biased officiating. For Kobe to be at that point with so much talent should have confirmed to the stans that he's overrated.

And Malone being out was not the reason he shot like 33 percent for most of the series and took some of the worst shots in NBA Finals history.

The Pistons were the better team. Payton was done so u got Kobe and 400 pound Shaq vs a extremely motivated and deep team that had guys that can defend Kobe and Shaq straight up without double teaming them. The Pistons were like the 02 Kings minus the chokers and cry babies

dudes already forgot that the Heat had trouble simply bringing the ball up the court and executing actual offense when Bron was out?

THe pistons were nothing like the Kings and Shaq was unstoppable that series. Kobe refused to give him the ball. I suspect he decided he'd rather lose the Finals than let Shaq get FMVP.

Also, Wade beat the pistons in 2006 with an older shaq and an older GP and no Malone.

06 pistons had a different coach and a not as deep bench. They were better offensively but their defense wasnt the same. Flip didn't even play Ben in the 2nd half I think which let Shaq go apeshyt in game 6. Also 06 Heat >>04 Lakers. The Heat gotta more flabby and sick Shaq but also Antoine Walker, Udonis Haslem, White Chocolate, James Posey, and Wade in 06 was just flat out better than Kobe in 04 lol. Who else the Lakers had outside of 400 pound Shaq and Kobe in the middle of the rape case?

Check Wade against the PIstons in 2005 then. Performed much better than Kobe.

And Antoine Walker was pure garbage on the Heat. Did you watch basketball back then?

Gasol could shot. Bosh status? No. But Gasol was automatic from 15 especially when wide open

there is a reason Gasol hated Dantoni. Dantoni wanted him to play that Bosh role just spacing the floor while Gasol wanted post-up opportunities. can Gasol hit the 15 footer? yes. is that the best way to use him? no. Gasol is a low-post big. You don't use him as a jump shooter to space the floor. You give him the ball and get the hell outta the way.

I see you trying to deflect cause you know the hypocrisy. But I'll play along.

All Kobe has on LeBron is longevity. That's it.

LeBron in his 11th year: 4 MVP's, 2 rings, 2 Final MVP's, 2-2 Finals record (And if he wins again you can add another ring, another Finals MVP's)
Kobe in his 11th year: 0 MVP's, 3 rings, 0 Final MVP's, 3-2 Finals record

Kobe's career only looks more "impressive" because he was in the league 7 years before LeBron. By the time LeBron's career is over and he and Kobe will have played close to an equal amount of years, he's gonna shyt on Kobe in stats and accolades and the only people still thinking Kobe is better will be the stans :manny:

look bruh. LeBron already got a huge statistical advantage on Kobe. He sure as hell might finish his career with a much better resume. And objectively speaking having the greater legacy. I just never will feel in my heart that he was better than Kobe. When Kobe has it going, he was simply on another level than Bron could reach. I respect LeBron's game, but I simply prefer Kobe more.

I disagree but that's fine. We can agree to disagree.

you do know that Kobe/Gasol/Howard/Nash played like 2 games together that season. They were all injured at different times with Nash and Gasol missing huge chunks. Plus they fired their coach after 3 games and were acclimating to a new system the rest of the way w/o training camp.

it would be one thing if they failed with everyone healthy. but that was a lost season because of injuries moreso than anything else.

It's funny though, the lakers played their best when Kobe was out. :patrice:

:dahell: he missed the last 2 games.....and they proceeded to get swept by the Spurs. da hell u talkin bout?

THey not only won those games, they actually moved the ball. They got swept by the 2nd best team in the league. If kobe had played the last 2 games, they would not have made the playoffs.

Kobe is an overrated ballhog. You might be unaware of this simple fact because you a deranged and painfully stupid homosexual.

I'll admit I was wrong about Bynum's number but :mjlol:at Chris Andersen. And can we get some consistency with Wade on here? One day he's Larry Holmes status & the next he's the only reason Bron is winning anything. But for the record, I agree with him being the best second option between the two teams

these kobe stans and their double standards smh

If we want to cherrypick stats...

Kobe Bryant in 2010 Finals:
Game 1: 30 points on 46% shooting
Game 2: 21 points on 40% shooting
Game 3: 29 points on 35% shooting
Game 4: 33 points on 46% shooting
Game 5: 38 points on 48% shooting
Game 6: 26 points on 47% shooting
Game 7: 23 points on 25% shooting
Series: 28.6 PPG on 40.5% shooting

Kobe Bryant in 2008 Finals:

Game 1: 24 points on 35% shooting
Game 2: 30 points on 48% shooting
Game 3: 36 points on 60% shooting
Game 4: 17 points on 32% shooting
Game 5: 25 points on 38% shooting
Game 6: 22 points on 32% shooting
Series: 25.7 PPG on 40.5% shooting

Kobe Bryant in 2004 Finals:
Game 1: 25 points on 37% shooting
Game 2: 33 points on 52% shooting
Game 3: 11 points on 31% shooting
Game 4: 20 points on 32% shooting
Game 5: 24 points on 33% shooting
Series: 22.6 PPG on 38.1% shooting

Notice Kobe shot below 50% in 16 of those 18 games...

But y'all same nikkas worship Kobe and shyt on LeBron for his poor performances in the Finals....

:yeshrug:
kobe is the only player in nba history to never shoot over 50% in a finals series :sas1:
