If they never let him speak, and by that I mean no promos ever, I definitely agree he could have been a much bigger star. The mystique was gone when that dude spoke though.

Marty Jannetty. He was over after the Rockers break up, he was talented, he could cut a decent promo. People popped when he returned to confront HBK, and they popped when he beat him for the IC title. If he had stayed clean and kept out of trouble, who knows what his ceiling could’ve been
Marty's ceiling was insanely high. He could have easily been the next big babyface.
