This thread inspired me to go back and watch a couple bouts from the RVD vs Jerry Lynn series for the first time in probably 15 years
Just finished their first big matchup (Living Dangerously 99). I used to rewatch this match all the time as a teenager
Looking back now....zero psychology. No flow at all. Just short sequence, rest, short sequence, rest.
All the little sequences are awesome, but in the end its just 4.25 stars and RVD didn't outshine Lynn at all
Now onto Hardcore Heaven....

Just cant put RVD among the greats. Its incredible how someone so agile can be so slow in the ring
I mean....I can name at least 4 HONMA matches better than RVD's best match ever. How can he be the most talented?
That being said, the 5 Star Frogsplash might be one of the goat top rope moves
