It was a clear reflection of those 2014 days
Accurate. I get the disappointment but not the hate.
I know I'm super in the minority for this one too but Das Efx "Straight Up Sewaside" is often considered a fall off album and Hold It Down is considered their comeback. I think that's crazy. To me it's a great album and I listen to it more than even their debut. They was rapping on that album for real.

I was expecting to see more of this ^^ or fans of the 97 boot camp LP, Nastradamus, Rae's sophomore LP and other universally panned albums in here or shyt that's like 80/20 on the hate scale, not AEOM and IWW.

Lethal Injection.

One of Cubes most coherent projects and definitely his flow at its best plus he touched upon a whole load of topics and was nice with the pen. People didn't give it a chance to stand on its own legs because of what came before it but it was solid.

Sewaside was the first Das Efx album I bought back as a kid. Loved it then and I still play it the most out of their albums.

I loved that album, and people underrated how nice they were on there. I think because they kinda dropped the "iggity" style and didn't have a big hit on there (They went from double plat to gold), it was considered a disappointment.

Nas - it was written

I still remember back in the day, motherfukkers hated the album because it wasn’t the same ass illmatic and more mafioso

I Only hated the Dre cut Nas is coming
One of Nas most important Album that advances his career the criticism helped also.
Shyne.

Rock solid debut album. 2 singers as features, he carried this by himself with no industry help. Back to back heat and totally way ahead of the game when it dropped in terms of content and production. Another one everyone around me rocked with but the Coli seems to hate/under rate.
Personal classic to me and better than 2/3’s of the Lox solo albums.
I like yeezus. I didn’t think it was trash.
My favourite Ye album because it can’t be replicated and it’s actually Cohesive.

To me it’s 50’s The Massacre that album bangs harder than GRODT better beats , better hooks and funnier bars.

Kingdom Come. Yea, I get it. "Adult Contemporary" rap lol. But idgaf this shyt had some coo shyt on it, plus you can't knock the homie for tryna push the artform foward. I feel like him embracing his age and trying to capture that w/ songs like 30 something made it acceptable for older acts to get into the game (i.e. Griselda).

I hated Beach Chair, but going back to that shyt now that's one of my jams
Trouble was my joint on there. He rapped his ass off on that last verse
