Busta's "The Big Bang"

Juvie's "Tha G Code"

Puff's "Press Play" album still gets burn here and there

I'll go completely random. Harlem World the group's album. Was just a fun album and I don't think they were taking the shyt seriously. Baby Stase up there as one of the worst female rappers in history tho.

Nas' Nastradamus album....

People act like Diddy executive produced the album and had him rapping over Shiny Suit production.

:mjtf::dahell:

Album wasn't even bad as people made it out to be.

The single for the album wasn't even bad. I do wish that had 3D glasses for the video though.

If Nas had listened to all these backpacker nikkas, his career wouldn't have made it to the next millennium.

Still til this day I don't know why people act like Volume 3 is a misstep in Jay's discography. I love that album. Solid 4 Mics Imo
Same. That album jammin…and he was gettin off with the bars here and there too. Couple missteps but like you said, a solid 4…doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets

Nas - it was written

I still remember back in the day, motherfukkers hated the album because it wasn’t the same ass illmatic and more mafioso

I Only hated the Dre cut Nas is coming
I was only like 11 but I don’t recall the hate…that album was everywhere and Nas was literally the coolest nig in the world lol. Hip hop publications was on that timing you talking about…they wanted another Illmatic…but the street crowned Nas off that album and It made him a superstar

Beats, Rhymes & Life by Tribe. I was just a kid so I wasn’t aware of the critical response but I always liked that album growing up. It was only until I started using the internet that I learned that people didn’t like it like that.

Ridin Dirty and the tribe album came out the same day. I was on vacation in Chicago and took a taxi to Tower records to buy them both. To be honest I was underwhelmed with both but I've come to recognize them with the classics they are.

Live From the Underground and Digital Roses Don't Die were great albums

Both were unique and had soul. KRIT makes music you can feel. Just because it didn't resonate for you like his mixtapes did, doesn't mean they were bad or even decent

Digital Roses is grown man music. Music that will live forever because romance has been a thing since the beginning of time. Adam and Eve

The whole album. Even that song Boring wasn't terrible. Just ok. But the rest was artistic and innovative

I know imma play this song months before my future wife goes into labor

What if I'm not meant to be a parent? What if I pass down my trauma?
:mjcry:

GROWN MAN MUSIC. Artists aren't making songs like this these days

Just 4 You should've been a hit

It was a dope album and should've gotten similar acclaim that Tyler's IGOR album did. It's a Southern love story that's way deeper. Introspective, lyrically sharp, poetic, conceptual, and full of soul

There's no one else in the game right now making music with all of those qualities. For some reason, KRIT brings all that and more to the game. While still being underrated

Mr. Morale.

The only good arguments I've seen against it were from @Piff Perkins, but everyone treats this album like it's Revival when it's nowhere near that. If this album came out back in 2018-2019, I would probably appreciate it less and wonder what the hell is going on. But I think as time goes by, this album will get more appreciation and turn into a cult classic.

Also, if you shaved off some of the second half, Street's Disciple would be an all-time classic. Word to @Left.A1.
