I don’t hate it but I always felt it was overrated but I understand a lot of people think it’s the GOAT rap song
I think it’s the G.O.A.T. rap single but I can see how someone can hate it because it’s overplayed

Brenda's Got a Baby :yeshrug:

Pac's storytelling is solid, but the beat and hook are corny and overly melodramtic to me...shyt is a little after school special for my tastes
I hate the music for this so much. I'm still baffled as to why this was Pac's first hit.

Gangsta's Paradise... I liked it for about the first week/week and a half... haven't liked it since. Blah.

Bling Bling. Eh... Birdman's verse opening it up pretty much sinks the whole song from the jump, never gave a shyt about the beat either.

Parents Just Don't Understand... I liked it as a little kid, but that's really the only time I could've liked it. I know it word for word but I despise it.

Toss It Up was always wack to me. I used to clown it and sing along with K-Ci's verse but that's about it. Don't even know if that counts as an all-time classic, but it's wack.

The original California Love, I never got into either. The remix is way better IMO.

KRS' "Stop The Violence" is probably the only song by him in his prime years that I find completely forgettable.

DMX "What These bytches Want"... the 2nd verse is fun... but I've never gone outta my way to listen to this on purpose.

Classic Niccas
50 cent - in da club - was always some rudimentary bullchit
biggie - hypnotize
tribe- bonita applebum - wack as f*ck
self-destruction - west coast turned around and did it better
NWA - express yourself
public enemy - fight the power - by itself without without the audio/visuals from the video versions
BG bling bling - one of the weaker cuts on the album and wrecks the whole mood of the CD.
dr dre - STILL D.R.E. - i dont know when this became an all-time classic. it got bigger in hindsight i guess.
LL's going back to cali - i dont like biggie's "going back to cali" either but its not considered an all-time classic, so i didnt list it.

This gonna probably get me negged but

Song Cry

i never liked it either but i never saw it getting the all-time classic reception.
it was kind of a dud for a hit single attempt too.

for jay-z, i would say "i just wanna love you"
but once we get into the 2000s, we get to alot of smash hits that werent neccessarily considered all-timers. i have a long list of those ready to go.
