My first thought was Method Man, I know he's a star but he could be on Snoop Dogg level megastar, could have a classic album like Nas, Jay-Z, Pac, Big level.
But he could have been so much more , thats why I put him in this threadHe was the man at this point and this song is being played on the same station as Fleetwood Mac and them. He should not be in this thread

Saigon- dude was lyrical yet could make great songs, had that recurring role on Entourage, was a dope live performer, but Atlantic put his ass on the shelf and it fukked up all of his buzz and he couldn’t recover. Had GSNT dropped in 05 when it was supposed to be really could have been a superstar.
Quan- Dude had the Nas co-sign and one of the best songs on Streets Disciple, which was a single and video. Had some great features, signed what seemed like a great deal and had a nice buzz. Then he fukked up and got arrested on some bullshyt and it seemed like overnight he was gone. He could’ve been Drake before Drake and he actually WROTE his own lyrics.
Don’t know what more he needed to do. I mean Big Boi has a full on single career still going and it didn’t help him get biggerBut he could have been so much more , thats why I put him in this thread![]()

Had he lived, his best work was definitely still in front of him. I enjoyed Pac as an actor even more than as an emcee, and looked forward to more roles and eventually him directing movies. You can make and argument for 2pac even tho he was a superstar when he was alive. He could have been bigger and was destined for greater things
Nas? How so? Net is worth over 100 million with more then ten liquid in the bank. He has 4 number 1 albums, 7 platinum albums, and 3 gold albums, and majority will say he’s making the best music of the past few years.
What else could he have done?
how do you know how much money he has in the bank? also, what does that have to do with being a star? he could’ve went to DMX or maybe even Pac level after Belly but he failed to do so.
