Simple. What have you learned from the pandemic?:jbhmm:

No obvious answers.:usure:

So, please don’t say….
  • We have a bad health system
  • We have (alleged) sheep people if you hate vaccines
  • We have (alleged) suicidal people if you love vacciness
  • People are unhealthy
  • Shortages are bad
  • Prices are high
  • Etc, etc.

I’ll start us off.:jawalrus:

During COVID, I really learned who the true super powers are in the world during this pandemic. What do I mean? You can tell the robustness of a country on whether or not they have a proper vaccine manufacturer to support their health system. So obviously the US is represented. So is Russia. So is China. But I was suprised to see..
  • no representation from Japan of all places (with their huge futuristic economy).
  • No representation from France
  • No representation from India (with their gigantic economy, domestic pharma, and millions of scientists)
  • No representation from Germany with their huge industrial base with health companies like “Bayer”(aspirin maker) based in their nation
  • No representation from the Asian tigers( hongkong, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea)
  • No representation from Australia
:ohhh:

And finally, I was shocked to see that the UK DID HAVE AN ECONOMY that’s robust enough to field a vaccine program(through Aztrazenica) . As a nation, they have been overshadowed by Asia, the US, and the Russia since the 70s so I never saw this one coming.:whoo:

Anyway, what did theColi learn from COVID in the last 2yrs? What unique things did y’all notice about the world? :lupe:

Share your pandemic wisdom.:feedme:

I learned you like saying Robust.

I never kneeewwww!!

This country is worse off than I thought it was.

Racism is way bigger than I thought.

White people only advanced by sheer luck and numbers because they are dumb as fukk and should have been easily wiped out by disease cuz they don’t wash their ass or practice basic hygiene.

People don't care about their children, certainly not other people's children.

Some people have children, because it is the next step in their lives (after marriage etc) but they don't really care about them.

Science is really lacking in this country.

It is shocking (to me anyway) that people don't know mRNA does and aren't even curious to find out how it works.
