As a Bulls fan, I saw him as a wannabe Jordan (not just his game, but mannerisms). After the rape accusation, Kobe adopted a more of an idgaf attitude when it came to media. Then once he had his own team and showed what he could do as a first option, that’s when I gained more respect for him. Used to think any other star SG (Iverson, T-Mac, Vince, etc) would’ve won titles with Shaq, and that Kobe benefitted from a not getting the same defensive focus as those other guards.

If we being real, I hated LeBron for typical sports fans reasons. Then I detached myself from being a typical sports fan after meeting LeBron and chilling with other athletes and realized that these dudes are a walking business and at the end of the day they make business decisions and owe us nothing.

I use to hate the spurs as a whole team, growing up bring a suns fan when Nash, Marion and Stoudemire played, now I'm a Knicks fan that respects them.

Kobe is the player I reversed on the most. I always thought he was over-rated as a player because the Lakers as a whole were so dominant. The Denver thing and how he handled getting shyt on and coming back with a vengeance made me a stan. I feel similarly about LeBron to a much lesser degree.
The way the media was on Tebow's nuts for winning when his flaws were made up for top-notch defenses. Dude even rode the wave of being portrayed as a nice guy when he preached his Christian fundamentals of hating gays and being pro-life, saying he's ready to adopt a child from every continent. As a Mavs fan I hated him too. The rivalry used to be lit between the Mavs and Spurs. Hated him Mostly because he wasn’t flashy at all and it seemed everything dropped for him smh lol
