Jesus
yes, paul was converted by a vision of a man who had been dead for at least a few decades. that is the narrative

1 Corinthians 15:3-8 KJV
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: [5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: [6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. [7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. [8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

It wasn't a few decades. Paul talks more specifically about it. Everyone who had seen Jesus after his death Paul references. He even said some who are still alive. Basically go ask them about it.

You're quoting the Psalm and saying that his "human body was dying"

Psalm 91 and 118 it specifically says that Jesus will be protected:

Psalm 91:

"Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him
,
and shew him my salvation"

Psalm 118

"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death"
That’s not referring to Jesus

that’s David writing that

That homosexuality is a sin.

People forget the Bible was not written in English. King James ordered a specific translation shaped by his own politics. Matter of fact most translations could have been, and probably were, influenced by human prejudices.

For example, the word homosexual first appears in an English translation in 1946, 2,000 years from the original writing. Prior translations were "boy molesters," or words indicating sexual abuse. With 31,000 verses in the Bible, only six say all homosexual acts, including committed adults in a loving same sex relationship, are sinful. These six verses were written in Greek by Paul. He used the word arsenokoital for Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, and 1 Timothy 1:9-10. That was not the word for homosexuality at that time. Had he intended all homosexuality, he would have used the word paiderasste.
But formication is a sin and men don’t marry men in the Bible

lust is also a sin

so essentially it’s not a sin to be a homosexual if you are celibate and don’t lust after the same sex

Not the bible per second but the book of Adam and eve talks about fallen Angel's teaching man how to make instruments, make up, jewelry, weapons. The very first music festivals, car shows and stunting on haters.
Book of Enoch*

Enoch was a prophet and the great grandfather of Noah(Noah's ark)..

There is debate as to if the Book of Enoch is accurate and real...

I believe parts are true (astrology being a secret of heaven, evil Angel's teaching humans weaponry,makeup..)

Who is it referring to? :unimpressed:
Like I said it’s (all the Psalms that you referenced) David speaking about his own life. It can by extension be applied to all believers but it was never applied to Jesus specifically.

What does your church (not sure what church you belong to) say about those verses? Or are you simply providing your own interpretation? Can you provide us a source from your Church that supports what you just said?

This has nothing to do with my church any trained pastor should have the same interpretation. It goes wrong when pastors self train … then they can fall out of step with what scripture really means.

What "trained" pastor or Church do you follow? I am asking you this because I want to use your own authority against what you're saying.

nikkas coming at @TEH but all he did was post scripture that referred to Jesus being God.

“…and the Word was God”

it’s clear what John is implying here.

At the same time other passages make a clear distinction between Jesus and God. Both sides have scripture to back their claims up. I see why there are a plethora of denominations in Christianity. Contradictions are bound to occur when you have multiple authors writing about the life and divinity of one person.

Center self, inner self
The thing about the tetragrammaton YHWH is that is was never pronounced. Us modern day folks fill in the vows and pronounce it as Yahweh because it’s simple, but every Hebrew scholar agrees that’s not the original pronunciation. That’s not the point. Jesus exclaimed himself to be YHWH (I Am) and the Jews understood the implications of what he was saying. It was blasphemy, they immediately recognized it as blasphemy, of which led to his execution.
I completely agree

In a dead language that they can’t even translate anymore

This is why I don’t believe in the Bible but I do believe in god and Christ. Joint is more like Aesop’s fables

Leviticus 18:22 KJV
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

:mjlol: You quoting the very translation I was referring to is ironic. You do know King James was an open homosexual right? His "translation" of the Bible was done specifically to get the church off his back because they didn't like him flaunting his gay lover in the court. Who knows what the actual original version of that book says.

But formication is a sin and men don’t marry men in the Bible

lust is also a sin

By that logic anything not depicted in the bible is a sin. That's too much mental gymnastics.
