The W is sexy as fukk. Stayed in the one in Hoboken with a view of Manhattan skyline. We didn't even close the shades that night we was fukkin. Chic was so bad I paid $325 /night, checked in at 3 am and I left her in there at 5:30 am.

Honorable mention goes to Excellence resorts in Mexico and Dominican Republic. Nice rooms.

W Hoboken got a mean ass view of manhattan skyline. Went there in 09 and they got an outside/inside lounge with that whole view. shyt was:banderas:

the W is :wow:

great room views and the lobby looks like a damn nightclub.

this is right up my alley

Waldorf Astoria NYC is cool. very old and "historic"....almost feels haunted. they must have a ton of room layouts...I've stayed there 5-6 times and the room setup was different each time. the 14th floor rooms have an unofficial balcony that wraps around the whole building.

Conrad New York - modern, huge rooms for Manhattan, rooftop bar overlooking the Hudson, nice location away from the craziness of midtown

Ritz Carlton Hong Kong - only went to the bar....highest hotel bar in the world. dope vibe, great drinks, incredible view

Rome Cavaleri (Waldorf Astoria) - old money hotel, priceless art allover the place, Italian marble floors and walls, one of the best breakfast buffet spreads I've seen anywhere, crazy spa and sauna (considered the best in Europe)

The Trafalgar London - rooms aren't anything special, but it has a nice rooftop bar overlooking the West End. more than anything, you're paying for the location here....walking distance to all the Soho bars, museums, attractions, etc

Grand Wailea Maui - still on a high from my stay at this place a few weeks ago. sits on one the best beaches in the world, tropical gardens all over the property, best hotel pool I've been to, great customer service, huge suites and decent executive lounge

Conrad Koh Samui - after staying here, I now hold luxury hotels to a higher standard. each "room" is a standalone villa on the side of a mountain overlooking the ocean. every villa comes with its own inifinity pool, the customer service is almost scary good(all the employees greeted me by name), the food is reasonably priced and top notch, words really don't do this place justice...you just gotta go

Wall Street douchey, European $$$ when I was there.

my favorite NYC rooftop bar is 230 fifth.....pretty diverse crowd, drink prices weren't too crazy, sick views

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas :ahh: favorite hotel of all time :ahh:

I meant to include this in my post as well. def the best hotel in Vegas....in my top 3 overall. if you're not staying at the Cosmo, you ain't doing Vegas right. those wraparound balcony suites overlooking the strip make you feel like a millionaire even if you're splitting the room with 8 friends :russ:

on a saturday morning like 3 or 4 am it was a good 90 degrees outside, I just chilled outside on the balcony with a bottle of patron and nice view and weather and life was great at that moment despite all the bull shyt going on in at the time back home :ahh:

edit: I do think other hotels in Vegas are just as nice or close to it. Palazzo, Venetian, Encore/Wynn are all top notch hotels as well. I like The Palms even though CURRENTLY not as top notch as Cosmopolitan, its still nice as well, theyve been doing a lot of remodeling of the rooms and changing the atmosphere at The Palms, look to see some big things from that hotel in the next little bit

Strictly 5 Star/5 Diamond and not just dope hotels, The Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel for a few days over my birthday last year, and Addison, at the Grand Del Mar. I only ate at the resturaunt, it's the only 5 Diamond in So. Cal, was like a 12 course meal, chefs tasting.

But, the Rtiz in Laguna was pretty incredible, ocean view suite, and just above one of the better breaks in Southern California, Salt Creek. The difference in 5 Star to me was, aside from the service and presentation of everything, the food was pretty amazing, none of the mid range that you find at the average Marriott.

I stay usually stay at middle-class-ish hotels: Hyatt House, Aloft, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton, Ramada, Country Inn and Suites, Fairfleld Inn, Candlewood Suites.
I don't know how many stars they have. :manny: They have a pool, free breakfast, internet, workout room...
Those are usually 3 to 3.5 which is just fine for me. Clean and reasonable. It think I've stayed at everyone you mentioned. I loved the Candlewood Suites in Springfield, Illinois

http://www.lauberge.com/ - L'auberge de Sedona. Easily my favorite place on earth. World class accommodations meets impeccable service. If you're going to Sedona, stay here. Don't get a regular lodge room, upgrade to any one of the cabins.
http://www.fourseasons.com/scottsdale/ - Four Seasons Scottsdale. This place is just ridiculous. I won't even be able to do it justice just click the link.

Low key...
http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/nevada/elara-hilton-grand-vacations-center-strip-LASCSGV/index.html - The Elara in las vegas is my favorite place to stay. Get the 1-bedroom suite and you've got a room with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub in bedroom, plus a wall projector. Not very expensive either.
