All of us don’t have kids, but our taxes go towards public schools.

But if you do have kids at some point and they get student loan debt, will they then be entitled to student loan forgiveness or an equivalent grant? If they create a one time college grant for every potential student, then they don’t have to worry about that argument.

The plan was always supposed to be that she'd not run again in 2022 and they've find her successor. That was the only reason why they'd hadn't thrown her to the bushes yet. Honestly, she got lucky she didn't get the bushes after the election losses last year when her and Chuck threw Progressives under the bus to save their own ass and dodge heat for the election failures.

She is right. Only 30% of Americans go to college. Most have paid off their loans already.

it is bad politics for people who could never afford to go to school see people get it for free

This is such a selfish train of thought. “I didn’t get to take advantage so no one should”. I’m almost done paying off my loans, but if they wiped everything clean and made all college free tomorrow, I would still be happy for everyone that don’t have to go through what I went through.

Canceling student debt would definitely help with the crumbling of America’s middle class. And a strong middle class is good for everyone.
