Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home vandalized with pig's head, message about $2k stimulus checks: Reports

Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home was vandalized with fake blood, a pig’s head, and a message alluding to $2,000 stimulus checks, according to reports.

The message scrawled on the garage door, first reported by TMZ, said, “$2k cancel rent! We want everything!”

Congress has approved $600 stimulus checks as part of a $900 billion aid package but is under pressure from President Trump to distribute bigger $2,000 checks. The House passed legislation for the bigger checks and sent it to the Senate, but the bill has been blocked by Republicans. It is unclear why the vandals would have targeted Pelosi, the House speaker, who has been an advocate for the larger checks

There is also a movement to cancel rent during the pandemic, which has been championed by the likes of Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that officers responded to a vandalism call at Pelosi’s home around 3 a.m. Friday, and a report was taken. It’s unclear if there are any suspects. The Washington Examiner has contacted the San Francisco Police Department for comment.

John Dennis, chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party, who ran against Pelosi in California’s 12th Congressional District in November, took a picture of the garage, which has since been covered up, and blamed “the violent left”.

“Lunatics leave pigs head & graffiti at Nancy Pelosi’s house,” he tweeted.

He added: “Dems like Pelosi will learn sooner or later: you cannot appease the violent left.”

In September, a rally was held outside her home, in San Francisco's Cow Hollow neighborhood, after she got a haircut indoors at a salon despite the service being prohibited under the city's COVID-19 regulations.

A video surfaced Tuesday showing Pelosi inside eSalon on Union Street in San Francisco's Cow Hollow neighborhood.
