Women round me waited til 33-35 to have kids but did so because there careers needed to pop off.

But then again how many of our mothers or female elders had kids early and made it happen in there careers. A bunch round me had just as much success have kids in they mid 20’s

We're constantly told how it changes the body. Then as an athlete, you're already dealing with fine margins. Just put a period of relative inactivity in the mix paired with a diminished drive.

I suspect that right now, the biggest obstacle in her mind is wanting to focus on her baby.

I think Serena won a Grand Slam like 6 weeks after giving birth… I’m exaggerating of course but I believe it was an insanely short amount of time she won the French Open after dropping a baby
