This is the guy that started a song like this

was just focusin', takin' some time to escape
Appreciatin' how they make wine from grapes
What is it 'bout Cuban cigars?
Is it the taste?
Should go to France and cop Venice bottles by the case
I just had a discussion
'Bout some woman's philandering husband
She love him
Do marriages last anymore is the question?
'Cause I done went down the line with many women who fine
Gave 'em Bags of Vuitton
Peek-a-boo Fendi too
There's unspeakable things they do
Sneakin' with other dudes
Lost your sweetness, you be freakin'
It's me that you accuse
@Stick Up Kid you fukking with it?

aside from hitboy and Primo, he and Salaam Remi have worked with Nas the most. I love Primo, but Nas is his best with Large Pro.
Primo up until now hasnt done much work with Nas.
Premo, Kanye ,Alchemist, Large Pro, same average bracket output. same with No ID
He has done more with L.E.S, Salaam, Chucky Thompson n Poke n Tone

i'm glad he's acknowledging some of the beat criticism
hope he steps it up for this album

He acknowledges that hes aware of it but just says thats what he does so if you dont like it thats fine by him

Would still go in with reserved expectations...

The nerve of dude asking what will Nas talk about :russ:..
The dude can hit you with so many visuals especially about NYC whom by all accounts dude still pulls up dolo in Queens with his ice on..

Need to stop tryna recreate moments from the 90s breh…. If Nas listened to his fans, he would’ve never made classic joints with HitBoy

I was on 41st ave Saturday gettin some rugs at that Persian place few blocks away from QB.. the whole area is gentrified

He made Thun & Ugly with Hit Boy, so what are you saying? Dude can talk about anything without trying to recreate 90s shyt...which is my point..maybe he will talk about gentrification vs old NY.
.not sure what your point is..

When "Define My Name" was brought up, it confirmed what I thought about it being a teaser or a hype song. I don't expect a beat like that on the album. Seems like Premier is more locked in when he has an actual project to work on and not just a one-off (PRhyme, One of the Best Yet, The Reinvention). It keeps him motivated like back in the day.
