His core fans expect greatness not Streets Disciple Hip Hop is Dead Untitled Nasir type of tracks. I want classic nas n primo music thats timeless

Regardless of how people may feel about Primo in recent years, you have to figure he’s turning it up a notch for this one. He knows the expectations for this album, and I’m sure his own expectations/standards supersede those. We’ll find out in ten hours, but I can’t imagine him not delivering on his end.

Maybe people feel like he doesn’t still have that magic in him, but I do. And every track doesn’t have to be Nas Is Like level for him to deliver (guarantee you’ll be disappointed if you have unrealistic expectations).

Nobody can change your expectations of the album but at some point you have to be realistic about what type of album Nas/Premo gonna drop in 2025.

I’m convinced it’ll be a good project but I’m not expecting Nas is Like, Memory Lane etc type of heights.

This Legend Has It run was honestly miraculous to me

I never thought we'd get another Slick Rick and we got one, albeit minimal, the music was good

I wasn't expecting much from Rae or Ghost, and we got solid projects from them both

I didn't expect anything Big L related again, and we got a decent tape that uphold his legacy and is a great intro for a new listener

We got the best Mobb Deep album since Murda Muzik straight up. New verses from Prodigy and fully produced by Havoc with some help from ALC, a dream come true honestly

De La Soul dropped the most heartfelt rap album I heard in a long time. It was unapologetically true to form and crafted with care.

Why would Nas and Premier be any different? They're much older, but seem to understand the assignment and will give this their everything
