I heard about it but wasn't sure. Some of the joints or production are that old ?
I also heard define my name will be vinyl bonus only

Unverified rumors that are most likely bullshyt.

The vinyl is marketed on Mass Appeal’s website to have 15 tracks, no mention of a bonus track whatsoever.

Also Nas nor Premo have said that they were including songs from years ago. Nas only said that they had IDEAS from years ago and of those ideas 1-2 made it to the album.

Through the years, y’all have spoken about being in the studio, possibly working on a project. How many songs or ideas from those periods have carried over to what we’re going to hear soon?
Wow, that’s a dope question. I’m going to say at least two of those ideas happened on this album. We didn’t get a chance to do ’em when we were talking about ’em, but we finally got a chance to put those recordings together this year.

Agreed, I feel like the only things we know are what Nas and Premo have said. Outside of that do I value Statik saying it's dope? Yes but at the same time what else would he say lol. And I haven't really seen any rumors anywhere. I remember people here posted rumors about multiple Hit Boy era albums, often from Reddit. Unless I've overlooked something online I don't think we've gotten an ounce of rumors.

The only rumor we’ve gotten is that the album will have New York State of Mind Part 3 on it but of course thats not substantiated.

I would be good without that tbh. Pharoahe monch did the concept enough. But another interesting concept joint would be dope

Fair enough but a good story is a good story, with the way the OG ended you can take it in many directions, Nas is abstract enough to pull it off. I seem to always be in the minority though, something like Al Jarreau of Rap was dope to me.

I like Al Jarreau of Rap to actually. But I do think Nas could take the concept in some interesting directions and if he does I'm all for it. IGYP isnt a concept thats been done to death so there's room for both, I would just want something else if given the choice. I love concept records so the more the merrier imo
