thank god for the real fans

bad fans immediately ignored dj premier and listened thru shotty headphones and laptop speakers

some of yall had the audacity to say it wasnt thumpin or knockin.

talkin bout light drums, straight up LIES

this shyt got the bass on EZ rock

preemo delivered every kinda of beat from every era of gangstarr

moment of truth? hard to earn? blaq poet? freddie foxx?

not one skippable track and the ngga hit multiple concept records about the culture

sonically?

sounds like lost tapes

yall are truly miserable and nas is not, i love it

Welcome to the Underground :ahh:
Thank you ..a real one knows

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Gotta say, I’m glad I listened to this on my own for the first couple times so I could form my own opinions. Reading the initial opinions of others would have ruined my experience. This is for another thread but the expectations some people have for artists, how they listen to the music, and how they react/rate/review is unhealthy and probably needs to be studied.

Ok brehs, Im liking the album, of course there are no beautiful "Nas is Like" type joints on there, but Nas comes correct lyrically as usual.

But, idk, some of the beats just dont mesh well imo.....like NYSOM Part 3, it sounds just off to me.....like off-key.....almost discordant if you get what I mean?

I was hoping there'd be some more melodic or sonically pleasing type beats on there, like Memory lane or Nas is Like type stuff, more accessible.

This album sounds like Wrath of the Math and Hard to Earn had a baby.

But I was expecting more Momen of Truth style.

If you grew up listening to cats like Jeru the Damaja or Gang Starr's early stuff, you're probably loving this.

It'll have to grow on me a bit. But I do love My Life Is Real, Git Ready, Writers, Bouquet, and Sons.
