Dr Knockboot is a problem. But Biggie can make Player Hater? Other nikkas can make songs and joke n shyt like that but it’s a problem when Nas does it? Nas has written some of the greatest hip hop songs ever created. There’s no “middle” way about it.

Nas ain’t allowed to joke and like women, the Nas songs these brehs hate like K-I-S-S-I-N-G Oochie Wally and You Owe Ne are the Nas songs women love, so go figure…

It’s so wack, people actually think creating hits isn’t a lot to do with marketing and aligning yourself with the right rappers producers and labels/Djs.

Nas can make songs that would be hits with other rappers quite easily, we’ve both made the point about Spicy and Replace Me these are hits with just a couple replacements in features, but it’s obvious Nas ain’t chasing it.

If he was he would have already made songs with Drake and Kendrick and J Cole, it’s that simple. The amount of songs he has made which could be way more successful if he just replaced the singer on the hook with a notable star, or pushed it as one.

You won’t see me tonight is an example, You Wouldn’t Understand with another singer apart from a at the time unknown Victoria Monet is another example.
Nas cant make a hit breh. We in the streaming era. He made records with big artists and nothing moved the needle. Dont need radio to be a hit anymore

Big Sean, A Boogie, Fivio Foreign, YG, aren’t big artists(as in superstars) breh they don’t move the needle. Cardi B, Drake, Kendrick, J Cole, Nicki Minaj, are.

Saying this is the worst Nas album is just a flat out fukking lie

Obviously it's not the worst album. But it's his most disappointing album by far IMO. Even with expectations I felt were fair and reserved given that it's not 1999 or 2004 for either of them anymore performance wise, they still missed the bar by a mile IMO.

Just my opinion, don't care who disagrees. There are some embarrassing beats on here and most of that is driven by wack live instrumentation.

Nasir would like to have a word lol

Maybe his most polarizing, seeing as now theres a general conensus on other albums and this one might take some time to figure out.

A lot of y'all like arguing just to argue.

100 percent they do.

I might be the only that fukks with Welcome To The Underground :mjlol:

u not. it bangs to me.

What level is Jay rapping at?

per 444-outside of Marcy me....spoken word poetry slam night "grown man bars" in his 40s/50s.

just put dude on ignore and move on with your lives brehs. 4 of ya'll in a row quoting this dude :mindblown:

This. Buddy is a clown, but they keep attending his circus.

Esco telling Nasty "Yo, that boom bap is too whack, that don't get you no bytches" sounds like one of you Coli nikkaz :mjlol:

I love this line lol and the whole song.

Kenny is a lyricist he's just in the lower tier part of the class system, especially lately where he's fallen to a lower degree
He's not fukking with Nas though.

I love Kendrick...but he's not on the same plane lyrically as Nas.

I comeback to this thread to see Nas isn't an elite songwriter? :dead: nikka been around since 91 double digit plaques 6 #1 albums/ How the fukk he move units based off his lyrics alone?:dead::what::what:. Yeah some of you nikkaz need to exit this thread

u cant take the unserious serious man lol.

Some of y’all should be embarrassed to call yourselves MEN. There is NO WAY the comments posted on this thread come from mature adults with families or an employment history.

facts.

Fail to understand why a song about pause tapes, called "Pause Tapes", has a beat that sounds like a pause tape, hip-hop brehs.
