That seems like an egregious oversight IMO

Bro. Shorty not a factor it is what it is. I knew she was rapping before most people and didn’t realize she had a project. She don’t do shows. She’s get beats from Alc cause of P but other than that she makes her own beats. She don’t make noise brodie.

Damn you right about all that but on the strength of P, I thought he’d give her a little shout out among the ten thousand other names he dropped . I mean no disrespect but Bernadette Price got a shout…which I LOVED by the way

I highly doubt you're 15 years younger than me. That would mean you weren't even born when IWW dropped, lol.

But the point is, this record is aimed at a certain era and listener. So if you're saying "it's not good", you're speaking to the quality of the music. But for those of us who it speaks to, it's perfect and we love it. So that's when it's kinda time to just accept that this kinda music just isn't being made for you. It's for us. That doesn't mean the music "isn't good". It means you just don’t like it. And that's okay.

Nobody cares about Hit Boy. This is about an album made by two GOAT's. Premier has been killing sh*t since '88-'89. We are not going to start throwing random beat makers in talks with the best producer of all-time. Nah. Premier has made a lot of dope sh*t over the past 2-3 years. The kinda sh*t that people wanted Nas to rap over. But that's not what Nas wanted for this album. What he wanted for it, is what he sat and made with Preem. Premier makes beats on the spot at the direction of the MC and for what they want to say. He's not going to dig in a stash of 30 year old beats and tell Nas "This is probably what the people online want to hear you on. Try these". LOL!!

I don't understand how you don't get that some people can understand exactly what it was going for but also don't think it lives up t the standard of what it was going for, either? Like I mentioned, was one of the first people pointing out the early Gang Starr similarities...at the same time though, I can't all the way rock with everything here, because some of them feel more like shells of what once was instead of the genuine article. It's not that the style isn't for me - it's exactly my style, it's simply just not as good

About 50 minutes into the Buddens interview they're already talking about just needing time to lock in for at least an EP. I think we'd all like to see that snowball into a whole album

This, I can think of a few female rappers that used to get play on the Box back in the day that weren't named, some being from Detroit but I wouldn't expect Nas to name/remember them.
