I love this album, but man...the Time Keeps on Slipping joint sounds like if I told CHatGPT to make a Preemo type beat out of the sample. It sounds exactly how I thought it was gonna sound and not in the best way.

I'm also just not a fan of using mega popular rock samples in rap beats. I feel like that shyt gets done to death by Em, Dre, Snoop, and lots of A-listers in recent years. Might be my least favorite on this album.

It's cool for the concept of the song. But the album doesn't really pick up until Madman and Writers

Facts

Writers is where I feel like they found a groove and are both in sync

Nas is rapping but Premier is lacking a lot on those first few tracks

But Writers got me nodding my head like “this is what I was hoping to hear”
