Only 3 tracks in but I'm loving this. Yeah NYSOM 3 is a little weird because it's nothing like the first two but it's still a good song, dark menacing beat. I'm on Welcome to the Underground, that's the first beat thats ehh. But if Nas spits like this the rest of the album he's cemented his GOAT status

he gets better lol

The 1st three tracks thru me off .By NYSTOM Pt3 i almost had a heart attack

Album picked up a bit on Welcome to the Underground (i love this track).
As far as concepts though, Nas delivered in abundance....
Favs....Writers, Welcome to the Underground, Junkie, Nasty Esco Nasir, 3rd Childhood (lazy recycled chorus from Premo though)
This aint knocking down any of Nas & Hitboy albums except maybe Magic2 ..even M2 had higher highs than those here.
Magic - KD2 - KD3 - Magic3 are light years ahead of this album
This is not cracking my top 10-12 Nas albums.

The reception has been very strong for Nas. Not so much for prem. I said this before the album, to ask preme to do 15 tracks in 2025 was a really tall task

Social Media such a weird spot. People will skim an album as fast as possible to give a take. Then will say stuff like he didn't shout out Nicki on Bouquet. Sheesh. He did, but people won't sit with an album. Small example

Preme getting the trickle down hate. A few will say the beats not good and then it snowballs into a thing. Preme did a phenomenal job

Coli is one of the places where I really trust the feedback (especially from certain posters) when it comes to Nas

This place peddles a lot of bullshyt, but this is really a core gathering spot for Nas diehards. Even the haters on here are pronounced and classically trained lol

As long as Nas is breathing, people will criticize his production. That's just his "thing" and always will be

If ALC did the album it would be "too many loops" "not enough drums" "not enough bangers" "sleepy" etc etc

I really really truly do not care what the general public thinks about this album

For a lot of us, this is a culmination of 20-30 year rap listening journey - it can't be reduced to a tweet or a shytpost and carry any validity in my eyes...

Nas finally has a decent sports bar with the “im on Jets with Giants im Bill Parcell”

Its Parcells. Which rhyme way better. There is no quality control for these 2 and it shows. Its like they both said whatever we finish its going out

Kind of reminds me of Royce's & Preem's Prhyme album which i did enjoy. It's a mature album which is cool for Nas at the moment. I don't know why people shytting on it. I just wish there was some more features.
