As someone said in this thread, opinions are going to be very divided on album. I can see people loving it, and vice versa.

Personally, I think it’s mediocre.

Nas sounds sharp

Primo for an entire album is just overkill to me. It sounds like one long ass song in spots, which is what I feared. He truly is a regional producer that lacks any sort of versatility.

I also think Nas should have had Hitboy involved as an executive producer just to oversee things, and help avoid the monotony.

It's mr crypto lol. Just started listening. I feel like the album shoulda had some sort of intro. Even putting defining the name as a starter would've been slightly better imo.

I like it and Nas is lyrically sharp as ever but IMO it's the production on this that brings it down. I love Premo but his production is just not meshing with Nas the way I think most wanted or figured it would. This is a straight up ode to NYC album though so I can't be mad. Not saying its completely wack and I do like a few tracks but probably won't listen to this again.

He got 6 albums doing the same

Nas is a problem too.

Nas sounds sharp is so generic

His voice and flow no issue. Its his words. His writing is just bland just like these beats

Nah we good on Hitboy

We needed Preemo for an entire album

This dude said overkill :what:

I can tell you’re probably not from NYC
