This album extremely disappointing. Premier sounds like he just gave this album a bunch of throwaway beats.

After finally listening to the album, you can complain about the direction they chose to go, but complaining about the beats is kinda stupid. Since it matches the direction they chose to go.

I agree but I just think it’s over for primo. All due respect but I haven’t liked any of his beats for years.
I was so hyped once I heard this album was coming. Nas & Preme let me down

I knew it couldn't be denied when my son asked me to run it back, caught the rhythm to the beat and was bouncing around the house saying record, loop for about 10 minutes straight
.I remember purposely giving him a heavy dosage of Ra and Nas during the 2nd trimester though so im not surprised

Nas is my favorite artist, this album is weak, definitely in running for one of the worst in his catalog.
Some tracks have def grown on me. NYSOM def grew on me. I didn’t hate at first but I wasn’t crazy about it. It’s actually pretty damn dope. To me the album really picks up at “Sons”. The stretch of Nasty Esco Nasir, Bouquet, and Junkie is fantastic. Junkie is my favorite all around song. So yea rough start but the album def picks up in the 2nd half.

The hottest song at the moment is 3am by Loe Shimmy.
There's people that think Nas picks bad beats that love that song .
If Nas rapped on that beat, hip hop SM might explode.
I can confidently say, that beat doesn't make a Nas top 500 beats . Again...Narratives.
Nas is graded on a different scale. That point is inarguable .
