My boy @Piff Perkins literally said this is what happened. I think some of the beats were switched. Damn. I still like the album.

The Budden interview was dope, I listened on my drive in this morning
He was subdued and in total fan mode. It was a fun listen to hear them speak on the project
He obviously didn't try to ruffle feathers or speak on criticisms
He even got Nas to LOL a few times

I'm not buying the album anymore after yesterday
. I've already ordered 2 day one vinyls(one autographed), a day one cd, 2 amazon special edition vinyls, 2 standard edition cds, and 2 more standard edition vinyls (one autographed with comic). I'm done. I know that these will be out of print.

Something happened, they hired musicians to replay every damn thing - this is not the original vision
Now yall sound real stupid talking about “this is what Nas and Preem wanted”
No they did not want this, they couldn’t clear the samples
Steve Miller them probably drained they whole budget , Preem probably panicked and just did the best he could
I bet premed laced NYSOM3 real nice but old ass Billy Joel said he can’t chop his song or something stupid like that … which is why Preem brought in that weird ass sound
