It's undeniable. I may not fukk with the album but Nas' contributions ALL year have pushed the genre forward in a way I haven't seen a rapper do in a long ass time.

Surprised they haven't played something off the album during these NBA games. They use to play a lot from the Hit-Boy run.

The 36 Chambers
Shine Together is stuck between a good song & bad song.

It’s missing something but I can’t put my finger on it, maybe an addition instrument to the beat.

Love the song & the beat, even though it differs completely away from Premier signature sound.

This is really a polarizing album because Shine together is my 2nd favorite song behind Nasty Esco Nasir.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Madman is perfectly menacing

That beat is super dope

And Nas is popping his shyt

I made hip-hop and symphony shows start to spread
But still nothin' is sweet, you can tell by just bumpin' this beat
Still Nasty since '91, nothin' competes
Before Snoop, before Wu, before Big
There was this young kid with small dreads from the Bridge

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Welcome To The Underground and Git Ready

I believe those are the songs that Nas and his team are pushing as “singles” because those are the two he also performed during his Amazon concert.
Which is dumb cause “It’s Time” is the clear sports song. lol. Like no question whatsoever.

And no disrespect to @Figaro but it's funny how one of the main criticisms I seen is too many sample packs or live band instrumentals but Shine Together an old fashioned sample from a 70s band :manny:

Personally, dope track. Not a prototypical banger, most modern rappers in this lane wouldn't use it but it's 90s style. Work well for Nas and you could easily see BIG, AZ, Ghostface, Jay on it back in the day.

Same Shine Together is fire. I think songs like 3rd childhood, LFTU and MSYS really suffered from underwhelming production. I really hope the OG version of MSYS leaks because Nas and AZ both killed it.
