If the label released it on their own and it was obviously successful, why didn't they do the follow up? They had it on schedule but canceled it. Why? Labels are greedy and with Nas taking plenty of time between releases, they had ample time to drop it.

The thing I like about the Lost Tapes is that there are no guest appearances. Nas, in my opinion, has had a lot of unreleased and officially released tracks ruined by the guest appearances.

The biggest question I have in my mind about the Lost Tapes 2 or maybe my biggest concern is if Nas and his team will use unreleased tracks that include samples. The first Lost Tapes didn't have many samples. Fetus was even remixed because the sample had not been cleared. He has some Sony era unreleased tracks that I am aware of that utilize samples and I really would like for them to be on the album:
