Damn sounds dope as fukk.

I wonder why Nas scrapped all his work with Timbaland. The two snippets we have are FIRE

I wonder if it's for the same reason Hov stopped working with him. Timbo has admitted he had some drug problems and it led to him wyling out and being too egotistical. The Hov fallout happened right around the time he started working with Nas, so perhaps the same thing happened.

I don't think it was a bad fallout or anything, just Nas deciding to focus his creative mind elsewhere. They've been seen together since then, and Timbo has made a lot of positive comments about King's Disease on IG.

I don’t know for sure. Timbo said that everything with Nas was coming together great and that they had been locked in for a few months and then all of a sudden Nas said he needed to regroup and stopped contacting him.

My own personal theory was that Nas wanted out of Def Jam didn’t want to give them a full album, thats why Nasir would’ve been perfect for both Nas and Def Jam because Def Jam would’ve gotten a “Big” Nas album and Nas only had to deliver an EP’s worth of material. Kanye going full blown c00n ruined the momentum.

Tumbaland didn't hit a rut. He had all kinds of hits and bangers in the years leading up to him working with Danja.

That isn't Danja just giving Timbaland respect just to give him respect. How are protégés going to put in work when they never had a hit prior to working with the mentor. What you are saying makes no logical sense. Danja after branching out on his own did what exactly? Show me what on Danja's resume post working with Timbaland is on par with what Timbaland did after working with Danja. I'll wait.

See ya'll are silent and NEVER bring up the resumes of the guys who supposedly did all the grunt work AFTER they stop working with the mentors who "only added touches". You telling me that Danja was out here giving artists the caliber of tracks he was doing with Timbaland?

Danja last co-produced with Timbo in 2009. Since than he was still getting placements on projects by big artists (JT, Usher, Joe Jonas, Mary J.....I dont need to list them all, anyone can google search what he's done since 2009.

Sure Tim still gets big placements, but these days that has more to do with who he knows.....not so much the quality. Sure he can still produce some solid tracks, but I cant think of the last big single he's produced, or the last big project where he's produced the lions share.

Breh, Danja does not have JT placement that doesn't have Timbaland co-producing the song. Furthermore, I never asked about placements. None of the songs Danja has done post 2009 have made any noise. He didn't have another major hit until 2018 with JT's "Filthy", which is co-produced with Timbaland. So you're trying to spin this into Danja getting placements based on quality and Timbaland getting placements based on networking. That doesn't fly because Danja made connections too and one could argue that he only got placements based on his connections with Timbaland and not his work if this is the angle you're playing.

What was the last big single Danja produced that wasn't co-produced with Timbo? What was the last big album Danja helmed that wasn't co-produced with Timbo?

Why does it have to be a fallout? In Nas's own words, he described the work he did with Timbaland as powerful, but he stepped away to live and that it was too soon after Life Is Good. As he stated, he and Timbaland have been seen together since and follow each other on social media.

Nas has an album with Swizz that hasn't came out either and they definitely didn't have a fall out.

Nas has confirmed work with Beatminerz and Large Professor that we have yet to hear.

This could have been a good debate, but you clearly seem to be all up in your emotions over your hero Timbaland.

Going back and forth with you over this is like speaking to a child. Your clearly biased to a fault, so no point in debating you. You sound desperate.

So basically you have nothing to back up your claims and you approached the whole debate from a one sided angle as if your argument doesn't work against what you were arguing for. If Danja was really putting in all this work, it should'be be simple to put up huge albums helmed by Danja. It should've been even simpler to put up huge songs produced by Danja post 2009.

Because I'm familiar with both producer's catalogs, you'd have a thought time arguing that Danja made much noise without Timbaland. Post 2009, these are Danja's biggest songs:

M.I.A- Bad Girls

Chris Brown- Til I Die

Beyonce feat. Jay Z- Shinin

He hasn't helmed a big album since working with Timbaland. If so, prove me wrong.
