You can tell Nas is a veteran how he can hold down all the vocals on his own. He really make a these new rappers who have full backing vocals through the whole song look like the low quality artists they are.

Still blows my mind a middle school drop out from the projects performed his debut album (that he wrote as a teenager) at the Kennedy Center backed by the National Symphony Orchestra. And it somehow managed to not suck.

It’s so impressive how this man has been able to eat off this album for his whole career pretty much. Can any other rapper do this? I am going to get the physical copy of this hopefully tomorrow
