It always irritates me whenever some white person brings up Africans selling other Africans into slavery.

Like dat's sposed to somehow excuse da following hundreds of years of torture, rape, mutilation, and murder. Absolutely can't fukkin stand dat bullshyt.

It's used as a scapegoat for the wht they have done to us as a people. The truth of the matter is that europeans already had intentions of enslaving Afrikans. To be honest the selling of Afrikans by Afrikans is overblown. The intention those our Ancestors had was more of a service for a short period of time. Our naivety to the eurpeans's intentions has cost us deeply.

On the flip side for those "why didn't they come for us/ our own sold us into slavery" folks ...Imperialism (those slick words again smh) was happening at the same time with similar if not worse atrocities happening in the motherland.

In fact the psychological warfare must've been worse back home for the fact the foreign minorities ruled.

That mental shyt is almost completely over with though in Africa with the new generation not playing that shyt

Overall though, as painful as it is, if you ask me online I'll tell you to learn your history but you can't fight evil with evil, only love will endure forever more
