Whatever fam. Lol. Nas’ originality and creativity is what sets him apart. And u basically shytted on that aspect of his artistry.

?

Nas is extremely creative and his concepts often work. But sometimes they don't, and it results in puzzling concept records that are too on-the-nose and convoluted. That's...Lupe's entire career.

You can only pull off a twist, trick, or narrative concept a couple times before diminishing returns set in. I Gave You Power is classic. Project Roach...nah. Lupe has taken the "what if I rapped from the perspective of xyz" thing to legendary levels of corniness.

I don't have to go back that far. I can name albums better than Tetsuo and Youth that came out last week.

I asked you if you had all day. It's gonna take me a while to list all the rappers who are better than Lupe.

Yea ok foh

Nas fukks with a guy who picks forgettable beats, obsesses over weird concept songs that are more miss than hit, and places lyrics over constructing proper songs? What a surprise
:troll:

Lupe is corny af and I'm too old for lyrical miracle gymnastics.

Nas and lupe got too much dope songs

KENDRICK Lamar reminds me of Nas as well. So do the cats like Fashawn, Elzhi, your old droog, and Game sometimes

Not saying that lupe doesn't but Nas doesn't rap about robots and nerdy shyt all the time.

Both picking underwhelming beats is one common tactic they share tho lol

They both have dope beats thats a myth

Why would Lupe admit to the public he wrote for jay? Lu knows that would dent jay’s rep heavily and nikkas would take it and run with it.

And yall want to hate on Lupe his peers praise him. From Joe Budden to Scarface to Isaiah Rashad

Ridiculous hyperbolic posts like this are why Lupe standom is met with such disgust.

Mural is cool but K. Rino and Canibus both have done the "Lyrical gamut for a song in excess of 8 minutes"
thing to death. The only difference is no one wants to sit and dissect their lyrics because their songs aren't as palatable to brehs
who came into Hip-Hop post Kanye that directly link Lupe fiasco to "Real Hip-Hop" because breh got major label backing when Hip-Hop
was at one of it's most ludicrous and least balanced points in it's history.

It's easy to look like a martyr and lyrical savant when you're in a bubble, put Lupe fiasco in the wider pool of Hip-Hop talent
and breh while great becomes more more....normal.

Aceyalone. Myka Nyne, illogic, Aesop Rock, and many other "Experimental" rappers exist who also push boundaries
on what is lyricism in Hip-Hop.
