Lol..why?

Because the grammys are not the standard bearers for hip hop. They are not or should not be relevant for hip hop.

No dis to those who have won grammys in hip hop categories but their greatness is not due to winning grammys.
I just dont like how the grammys have treated black music so artists I like winning one does nothing for me.

Big Sean gonna body his verse. I don’t understand what the problem is. That nikka is a dope emcee.

Who's gonna say Big Sean when asked which rappers you want to see on a Nas album?

Don Toliver is probably doing an autotune hook so this is probably a single or radio friendly song. Most of these features look like he's trying to do that or connect with the younger generation. There's features that make sense artistically like Paak and The Firm but I'm not excited about Nas chasing mainstream success at this stage of his career.

I gotta see the production credits.

This album is going to be terrible :yeshrug:

The first single is awful, Nas sounding like Kanye on there. And that tracklist is an abortion.

I say this as someone who would like nothing more than for Nas to drop a great album
Isn’t sounding like (old) Kanye a...good thing? Someone said earlier it sounds like Late Registration Ye and that’s so true. In fact when I first heard it I immediately was like hold on they need to add some strings here, maybe a fade out with guitar notes there, more reverb here, etc lol. It had me in Kanye mode like it was 2004.

I’m not mad at the few people who dislike it but it’s a dope single brehs.

I think Nas is the GOAT but yall really hype up a lot of weak/mediocre projects from him
That Lost Tapes 2 was ass so was NASIR

You forgot to include; In My Humble Opinion
I hate when y'all talk so authoritatively
Others feel differently, but y'all won't hear word

I'm also convinced that commercial success affects how people perceive albums

To me, it's annoying when the most opinionated/critical, are not even people that purchased an album

Oh God shut the fukk up. You're rambling rubbish.
You people always overstep with the hyperbole

I don't see an album featuring drake, Travis, Cole, kendrick, and rhianna.

I’ll never understand how y’all be judging albums without even hearing them. All these assumptions about people’s verses, hooks and the radio friendly tracks. shyt is ridiculous. Judge the album when it drops :what:

I think people want others to have fukked up pre conceived notions about shyt so you look for things to not like before you even hear them.

Because they have they own agendas:huhldup::sas1:
