u got a whole post judging the album lolI'm not judging it as good or bad though based off the features like some people do. All I'm saying is based on the features what type of song I can see it being. Some people see features and discredit songs off jump. Same thing people do if they see a certain producer.u got a whole post judging the album lol

This forum goes full blown retard whenever Nas is about to drop. People lose all sense.
This thread is already going on 36 pages and the actual release is still a week away![]()

I’ll never understand how y’all be judging albums without even hearing them. All these assumptions about people’s verses, hooks and the radio friendly tracks. shyt is ridiculous. Judge the album when it drops![]()
Son who gives a fukk who gonna say what? Have u heard the nikka verse? It’s not like the nikka can’t rap. U nikkas annoying as fukk wit this shyt. Nobody knows how this shyt gonna sound. Who the fukk asked for Nas and Hit Boy? But Hit Boy ended up making a dope ass single for Nas. Y’all care more about the names than the product. shyt. Trust sounds like it belonged on the first Lost Tapes. Who the fukk would have thought Boi 1da would give him some fire like that? Just let the shyt come out first.Who's gonna say Big Sean when asked which rappers you want to see on a Nas album?
Don Toliver is probably doing an autotune hook so this is probably a single or radio friendly song. Most of these features look like he's trying to do that or connect with the younger generation. There's features that make sense artistically like Paak and The Firm but I'm not excited about Nas chasing mainstream success at this stage of his career.
I gotta see the production credits.
That’s 6 you listed, but point still stands.actually makes it strongerIllmatic - IWW - Lost Tapes - Stillmatic - God's Son - Life Is Good.
Thats five great to classic albums, more than most rappers discography.
And i only listed the most critically acclaimed ones there is a lot to like about his other albums too except for Nastradamus and NASIR maybe, his worst two.

I think Nas is the GOAT but yall really hype up a lot of weak/mediocre projects from him
That Lost Tapes 2 was ass so was NASIR
It’s not in the vaults. They did Belly soundtrack. Grand Finale.Since Nas is his own label now, can you imagine if he dropped albums yearly? For all that is holy I hope he gets control of every unreleased Columbia song...
With the guests, I see what he's doing. Work with some newer hotter artists and then The Firm and Brucie B for the heads. It's not a bad marketing strategy at all.
Also @spliz I forgot to ask, that Nas/Meth song in the vaults...was that for IWW or is it more recent?
