The snippet on Nas’ Instagram sounds like the same kinda over dramatic melodic beat from the intro on Nas’ last project with Kanye

That's some piece of classical music I think or maybe from a movie score, they play that shyt in movies all the time...no drums over it so I dont think Nas gonna rock over it

If you want to keep it ALL the way real he also made Kingdom Come in 2004. He made American Gangster in 1999. He made Watch The Throne in 2010.

Nas BEEN ahead of the rest of the rap game. You think its a coincidence Jay-Z, the ULTIMATE Nas fan, worked with No ID to make an album about marital issues and black identity, AND utilized the same sample as Nas Album Done? C’mon now

What album is American Gangster in 1999? I Am? or Nastradamus? and why

Or do you mean the Escobar personification? Maybe It was Written?

Me too. People dont know what they want. That was hip hop and nas was spitting

Lost Tapes 2 was a dope release. It only gets flack because it isn't as great as the first Lost Tapes. That and the fact that people these days look at those songs as throw aways because they know they were songs that Nas discarded for whatever reason. Still no reason to knock it. Nas has throw away material that is some of his best work.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Who don't care? :dwillhuh:

It seems like people are shytting on collaborations just to justify Nas choosing Hit Boy to do an entire project with....

I'm not a fan of Hit Boy but I'm still expecting a solid project from the 2 but y'all lying to yourselves if you wouldn't be more hyped for a Nas/Pete Rock album then Nas/Hit-Boy..
Bro. nikkas criticized the fukk out of that album and half the people criticizing didnt even listen to it which is why when RZA played Tanasia during his battle with Premo a lot of people didn’t even know Nas released it.

The 36 Chambers
^^^^

these are the Nas fans that held Nas back. And then y'all wonder why he gets all this hate. LET THE NYGGA GROW. He 46 and its still we need PREMEEEEEE. lol

No one says Jay should be still working with Ski or Just Blaze and Ye. its a group that just continues to want some outdated Nas sound. Preme in my top 3 fav hip hop producers. Shyt he did for the last Gangstar album was straight zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

nikka said held Nas back :russ:

Like he's not a grown man making his own decisions...

:mjlol:

I simply gave my preference that I'd prefer a Nas/Pete Rock album more then a Hit Boy album who's production i don't fukk with.....but I'm holding Nas back :russ:

He does what he wants & I'll be anticipating it..
