I'm a really big Jay fan, but dropping surprise albums to compete with your old rivals (at 50 years old) is stupid.

Well, there's a 2nd Nas album. I don't know if it's slated for this year, but not all of Lost Tapes 2 was cutting room floor material. Some of it was recorded in 2018/2019. When Nas got the beat for It Never Ends and QB Politics from Alchemist and Pete Rock, he did 2 or 3 other songs with Alchemist, and I heard he more with Pete Rock too.

So Nas definitely has more in the chamber.

Interesting, where did you hear that? Also I thought the QB Politics track was from a decade plus ago when Nas was originally planning to do Lost Tapes 2 but the label declined.
