QB Politics cant be that old being that he speaking on Prodigy. Art Of It is the old song. QB Politics beat is old and Nas decided he wanted to use it. But the song ain’t.

Almost 20 years later and the ether is sitll burning. Pharell probably feels a type of way about Nas too after the strays he caught from Nas too "them star track cats are weird"

What @spliz said is right on QB Politics. Ironically the beat is old enough to have been on Illmatic, but the song was recorded about a year after Prodigy passed away.
A mutual friend of Alc and I said that Nas did a few songs with Al (you actually got me to hit my guy up based on some of our convos in the LT2 thread), and one was It Never Ends. What Nas says here at 0:11 and 0:48 seems to match up. He basically comes out and says it's a new song.

I thought he started working on QB Politics ten years ago and then revisited it after Prodigy’s death. Interesting to hear that Art Of It was the one recorded first.

The Hip Hop DX article says Hit Boy produced the entire thing but I guess we’ll know tonight

But entire album is 41 minutes. That's more than long enough in today's short project era. My 2 favorite albums this year are 39 mins and 35 mins.

Only albums I’ll listen to at midnight are Kendrick and Nas, rap wise. Anyone else, even if it’s something I’m super hyped about like a Ka album or Roc Marci...I’ll peep after work the next day.
