Only albums I’ll listen to at midnight are Kendrick and Nas, rap wise. Anyone else, even if it’s something I’m super hyped about like a Ka album or Roc Marci...I’ll peep after work the next day.
Kendrick?

will be listening to this as soon as I can get my (digital) hands on it

Expecting Nas over some dope music in 2020, I am aware he is not in his prime anymore (that finished to me some time around SD), not overly excited about some of the features but he leaves tracks with Jay Z and J.Timberlake produced by Timbaland on the cutting room floor so I respect him doing whatever he feels like...

Would love for the Firm track to be banging and for everyone to deliver, if it's produced by Dr.Dre even better as it would give more meaning to ''Full circle'', but my best guess right now is that whole menu is prepared by Hit-boy.

Either way the fact that there is more music from the GOAT on the way is fantastic as we've been starving a little bit from LIG to NaSir and LT2.

Can't wait for this thread to BLOW to smithereens in 10 hours or so :wtf:

:jbhmm::wow:

NYSOM2 might be Nas' most underrated track. People act like Nas Is Like is the only Premo joint on the album when NYSOM2 might be a harder beat. One of the grimiest Premo beats and both verses are crazy.

Yeah, I love a lot of I Am. Replace those four with the best songs from Nastradamus ("Life We Chose", "Last Words", "Family", and "Project Windows" imo) and that would be a tough album.

I Am is definitely one of those late 90s/early 00s albums that would be undeniably great if not for 4-5 tracks. And just like those albums it's the ladies tracks that take the L. I would have kept You Won't See Me Tonight..that shyt would have been a hit if it was pushed and given a video. I remember Timbo saying him and Missy were stunned they didn't release it as a single. I'd also keeping Kissing, which is corny but the beat is kinda cool, the verses are good and it later ties into Undying Love.

Everything else? Big Things, Dr Knockboot, I Want To Talk To You, Money Is My bytch...straight to the bushes. Give me a time machine and I get rid of those tracks and try to get another Premo track, and another Hitmen track from Diddy (assuming they wouldn't let me use any of the leaked tracks from the double LP).
